Terms and Conditions
Effective January 1, 2026
Soledad Spray Foam Insulation, soledadsprayfoaminsulation.com, hello@soledadsprayfoaminsulation.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Soledad Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work we do for you. By using our website, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them.
If anything here doesn't sit right with you, call us before you book so we can talk it through. A written estimate or contract you sign with us for a specific job sits alongside these terms, and where the two differ, the signed document wins for that job.
Who we are and what we do
Soledad Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Soledad, CA. We insulate attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, install spray foam and blown-in insulation, which is loose fill blown through a hose, seal air leaks, put down vapor barriers and remove old insulation for homes and commercial buildings in Soledad and the cities around it.
You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page. The descriptions on this site explain our services in general terms. They aren't a quote or a promise about your particular house, because every attic and crawl space is different until we've seen it.
Information on this website
We try to keep this site accurate and current, but it's general information about insulation and our services, not advice for your specific home. We can change, correct or remove anything on the site at any time without notice.
The site is provided "as is." We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and you use it at your own risk.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and on site, with no pressure and no obligation to hire us. We give you a price after we've looked at the space, because the size of the area, how many inches of insulation are already up there, whether old material has to come out first, how easy the space is to reach and the material you choose all change the cost.
Your written estimate covers only the work it lists, and it's good for the period it states. If we open up the job and find something we couldn't see before, like soaked or contaminated insulation, droppings or damaged framing, we'll stop and show you before doing anything extra. We only do added work, and only charge for it, after you've agreed to it in writing.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a date with you when you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and a job running long before yours can move that date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one with you.
On the day, you agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, which usually means a clear path to the attic hatch or crawl space entrance and stored items moved out of the way. Some jobs, especially spray foam, mean you, your kids and your pets need to stay out of the house until the re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back inside. We'll tell you that time before we start so you can plan around it.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can. If we've already ordered material for your job or our crew has already arrived, you may owe us for those costs, as set out in your written estimate or contract.
Payment
You agree to pay the amounts in your signed estimate or contract, on the schedule it states, including any deposit it lists. The payment methods we accept are shown on your estimate or invoice.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is brought up to date. We keep any rights California law gives contractors to collect payment for work done, and if we have to send an unpaid balance for collection, you may owe the reasonable costs of collecting it where the law allows.
Our guarantee and what we don't warrant
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with the installation we did, call us and we'll come back out, look at it and make it right.
The materials we install may carry warranties from the companies that make them. Those warranties come from the makers, not from us, and we'll pass along whatever paperwork comes with the product.
Beyond our guarantee, any written warranty in your contract and the makers' warranties, we make no other promises about our work, stated or implied, as far as California law allows. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a set temperature upstairs, because that depends on your house, your heating and cooling equipment, the weather and how you use the home.
We aren't responsible for problems caused by conditions that were there before we arrived and weren't part of our job, by other people's work, by roof or plumbing leaks, by pests after we leave, or by changes someone makes to our work later.
Limits on our liability
We're fully licensed and insured. Even so, as far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or the cost of staying elsewhere.
We aren't liable for any loss that comes from using this website or relying on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that California law doesn't let a business limit.
If we disagree
Call us first. Most problems get sorted out with a conversation and a visit to look at the work together, and we'd rather fix something than argue about it.
If talking it over doesn't settle things, we each agree to try in good faith to resolve it, including through mediation in or near Soledad, CA, before going to court. Either of us can still bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Which law applies
These terms, your use of this site and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them will be heard in the California courts that serve the area where the work was done, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version is always the one on this page. A job you've already signed for stays under the terms that applied when you signed, unless we both agree in writing to change them.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about these terms or a job with us, call (831) 315-4005 or send us a message through our contact page. We're available 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and we respond within 1 business day.
